Three-time all-leaguer  and captain of the 1960 SPAL water polo championship team, this superlative Sequoia splasher also won a league title in swimming and went on to a four-year water polo career at San Jose State.  Captain of the 1962 Spartan frosh, he logged three seasons on the varsity team before moving on to an impressive coaching presence throughout the Santa Clara Valley.  He coached the San Jose State women’s water polo team, and served as head coach at various times at Oak Grove High.
